Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis in a welcoming primary school in Newcastle. This full-time position begins immediately after May half term and will continue into the new academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis, helping them access the curriculum and develop both academically and socially.
Collaborating closely with class teachers and SEN staff to implement tailored support strategies.
Contributing to the wider school community with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally supporting pupils with additional needs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A caring and patient approach with a genuine passion for supporting children’s development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
