Job summary

Think Education are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Ilford on a long-term, full-time basis. The role involves tailoring support to pupils with SEN within a Reception classroom, helping them access the EYFS curriculum and participate in daily activities.

You will support pupils academically, emotionally and socially, fostering independence, communication and engagement while ensuring a safe, inclusive classroom environment throughout the school

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience working in a primary school setting.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.
• Experience supporting children with additional learning needs (SEN).
• Experience supporting pupils in Reception and EYFS.
• Ability to commit to long-term, full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils with SEN within a Reception classroom.
• Help pupils access the EYFS curriculum and participate in daily classroom activities.
