A welcoming SEND School in Hendon are looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis to start ASAP
The Role
The pupil is 12 years old and a male. This pupil displays behaviours that challenge but can also be very anxious.
The pupil also displays signs of PDA ( Pathological Demand Avoidance ) which is characterised by an extreme avoidance of everyday demands and an anxiety-driven need to be in control. PDA is sometimes known as Extreme Demand Avoidance.
The School are looking for someone who will able to maintain behaviour and boundaries whilst being able to encourage the pupil to participate and engage in lessons.
