Qualiteach Education Group Ltd in Newham is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with SLCN in a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP. The position requires prior SEN experience and the ability to work closely with classroom staff to implement individual plans.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable delivering 1:1 support, encouraging engagement and progress while fostering inclusive learning.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to encourage positive behaviour and developmental progress.

• 1:1 TA required in Newham

The Role - 1:1 TA

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a Year 3 pupil with Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN) on a 1:1 basis. You will help the pupil access lessons, stay engaged in classroom activities, build confidence and develop independence. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow individual support plans, encourage positive behaviour and support the pupil's academic, social and emotional development. Previous experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting is essential for this role.

The School - 1:1 TA

This welcoming primary school in Newham caters for children aged 3-11 and is located around a seven-minute walk from the nearest train station. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their best. With a dedicated SEN and leadership team, the school offers support for children with complex needs, including ASD and ADHD.
