Job description

1:1 Support Assistant – Reception Child with EHCP (Including Potential Personal Care)

Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time | Term-Time Only - 8.30am - 3.30pm
Salary: £95-£100 per day

Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child’s life? We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to work with a Reception child who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), so empathy, patience, and sensitivity are key.

What you’ll do:

Provide tailored support to one Reception child, helping them access learning

Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals

Offer emotional reassurance, structure, and continuity throughout the day

What we’re looking for:

Experience working with young children, ideally with SEN

A calm, nurturing, and proactive approach

Willingness to support with personal care where required

A team player with excellent communication skills
