Job Description

We are seeking a 1:1 Support Assistant / Key Worker for an SEMH School in Portsmouth, with an immediate start. This is a full-time, term-time contract, with potential for temp to perm employment.

The role involves supporting vulnerable students with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs, including outreach work where you will travel to students' homes to assist with their transition back into school. You must be a driver and willing to use your own vehicle; travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Ideal candidates will have experience working with pupils who have challenging behaviors, mental health issues, or special educational needs, or those interested in working in a unique educational setting. Confidence in working one-on-one with students in various environments is essential.
