Job summary

Ambitious about Autism in Tottenham is seeking a committed STA to work 1:1 with autistic pupils, helping them access learning and develop communication, confidence and independence. You will be part of a warm, supportive team delivering meaningful activities and personalised support in a busy school setting.

The role runs during term time (paid across 52 weeks) with a training programme on join, CPD opportunities, and clear progression paths within SEND. Salary is £27,610 to £27,845 per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to autistic pupils
• Help pupils access learning and participate in activities
• Develop communication, confidence and independence
• Respond to behaviours of distress with patience and care
• Support pupils with personal care and safety
• Participate in community activities (e.g., swimming, work experience)
