Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a Specialist 1:1 Tutor to support a Year 10 student in Peterborough. The role focuses on complex SEND needs, including autism, anxiety and sensory challenges, with a personalised learning plan to improve EHCP outcomes.

The tutor will deliver a structured programme across English, Maths and Science, using the student’s interests to drive engagement, and will work under risk assessments and safety plans in a carefully prepared learning space.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with autism, complex SEND, anxiety, learning disabilities or sensory needs.
• Experience of alternative provision, EOTIS or working with EHCPs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a bespoke 1:1 tutoring package for a Year 10 student in Peterborough.
• Deliver a structured, engaging and differentiated programme across core subjects.
• Follow risk assessments and safeguarding procedures; adapt materials as required.
• Maintain a calm, predictable, and supportive learning environment to re-engage the student with education.
