Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a committed SEND Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 educational support to a learner in Chester. The role is based in Chester and requires a patient, adaptable approach to help the learner access personalised tuition.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SEND, strong communication skills and a willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS. Hours are part-time (5–15 hours per week) with start date in September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Previous experience supporting learners with SEND.
• Patient, adaptable and supportive approach.
• Strong communication skills.
• Teaching or tutoring experience desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Two professional child-related references.
