About the Role

We’re working with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school in Hillingdon with outstanding features, dedicated to providing exceptional education to students with special educational needs (SEND). As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support children on various levels of the autistic spectrum, ensuring they thrive both academically and personally.
  • Work 1:1 or in small groups to meet individual learning needs.
  • Assist in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment that fosters growth and confidence.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to implement tailored support strategies.
  • Look after students' physical, social, and emotional welfare, ensuring their well-being at all times.
What We’re Looking For

We welcome candidates with a range of experiences, including:

  • Experience: Previous work with young people or children with SEND is a plus, but not essential.
  • Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable supporting students in a dynamic classroom setting or on a 1:1 basis.
  • Commitment: A genuine passion for supporting the development of children with additional needs.
  • Practicality: The ability to commute to Hillingdon.
