Are you a passionate and experienced SEND teacher with QTS, looking to make a real difference on a one-to-one basis?
We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEND Teacher to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including SEMH, autism, physical disabilities, and other complex profiles. This role is ideal for an educator who thrives in a flexible, independent teaching environment and is committed to delivering tailored, high-quality education outside the traditional classroom setting.
The Role:
Deliver individualised, high-quality education to children not currently attending school.
Plan and implement engaging, needs-led lessons tailored to each pupil's EHCP and learning goals.
Work autonomously in settings such as the child's home or other appropriate quiet spaces.
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families to support educational re-engagement and progress.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with a range of SEND, particularly SEMH, autism, and physical or medical needs.
Able to plan, deliver, and assess lessons independently.
Comfortable working one-to-one in a variety of non-school environments.
Excellent communication, safeguarding awareness, and record-keeping skills.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Location: Shropshire - travel required to pupil locations
Hours: Flexible (school hours, term-time ONLY)
