Job description

Location: Morden, SM4
Salary: £89 (PAYE)
Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am – 4:30pm)

About the Role:

We are excited to offer a new opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant at an Outstanding rated primary school in Morden (SM4). In this role, you will provide 1:1 support to a child with Autism and complex needs. Personal care is required, and you will work closely with the child to ensure they thrive in an inclusive learning environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide 1:1 support to a child with Autism and complex needs.
  2. Assist with personal care tasks.
  3. Support the child’s social, emotional, and academic development.
  4. Work closely with the classroom teacher and other staff to ensure the child’s needs are met.

Skills and Experience Required:
  1. Previous experience supporting children with Autism and complex needs is highly desirable.
  2. Ability to assist with personal care tasks.
  3. A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with children.
  4. Enhanced DBS check, right to work documentation, and at least 2 references required.
