About the Role:

As a 1:1 SEN Tutor, you’ll work closely with students who need tailored support, helping them to achieve both academic progress and personal growth. Whether it’s building confidence, developing key skills, or nurturing a love for learning, your impact will be both meaningful and lasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalised, engaging lessons to students with SEN

  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning needs

  • Provide a safe, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment

  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in any setting)

  • A strong understanding of individual learning needs and how to support them

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
