Job summary

Simply Education Ltd in Northamptonshire is seeking dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support reception to Year 2 pupils with EHCPs and high SEN needs. You will provide consistent, nurturing help to enable access to learning and boost confidence in class activities.

Experience with SEN is desirable, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. Weekend or daily cover may be available, with immediate opportunities in the Wellingborough area.

1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a genuine difference to their day-to-day learning?

Simply Education are currently recruiting for multiple 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant positions within an infant setting in Wellingborough.

These roles are supporting children with EHCPs and high SEN needs, including children with autism and limited communication.

This is not primarily a behavioural support role. The focus is on providing consistent, nurturing and individualised support to help pupils access learning and feel confident within the school environment.

The role may include:

• 1:1 support for a child with an EHCP
• Supporting communication and engagement
• Helping children access classroom activities
• Working alongside the class teacher and wider SEN team
• Supporting personal care where required
• Helping develop independence and confidence
