Q – Do you have experience supporting students with Autism (ASC/ASD) or other SEN?

A wonderful Ofsted GOOD primary school located within Westminster is searching for a patient, caring and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start. The SENCO has sought the help of Clarus Education to assist them in their search for a candidate with a passion for supporting SEN.

It is essential that you have previous child-related or SEN experience when applying for this role. If you are a Graduate with voluntary or paid employment experience supporting individuals with SEN, particularly Autism (ASC/ASD), then my client school would love to hear from you!!

About the 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role:

  • You will work 1-to-1 with students with SEN across all key stages (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
  • Support students with Autism (ASC/ASD) and other SEN such as ADHD, Global Delay, Speech & Language delay, EBD
  • Run small group intervention sessions to help boost attainment
  • Deliver Speech & Language interventions
  • Full time – September start

The Person:

  • Child-related/SEN experience is vital!!
  • You must be a Graduate with a 2:1 or above
  • Psychology graduates are of interest
  • You MUST be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic & adaptable
  • A hardworking and driven Graduate who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements
