Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking a compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Bristol's primary and secondary schools. You will provide tailored 1:1 support, help pupils engage in lessons, and work closely with teachers and parents to monitor progress.

This role offers an immediate start with daily pay and the opportunity to make a real difference in inclusive education. Successful candidates will have experience with children, SEN, and DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Previous SEN support experience is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on request or willingness to obtain one.
• Two recent professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to meet individual pupil needs.
• Encourage pupil participation in lessons and school life.
• Implement targeted strategies to help pupils progress.
• Build trusting relationships with pupils and communicate with parents.
• Collaborate with class teachers to track development.
