Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with severe social and communication needs in a 1:1 setting. You will help with literacy and numeracy, and contribute to a calm, structured classroom routine.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with severe social and communication difficulties.
• Ability to assist with literacy and numeracy in a 1:1 or small-group setting.
• Calm, patient approach to managing anxious or frustrated states.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioural guidance in a 1:1 setting.
• Support the student with literacy, numeracy and classwork.
• Assist the class teacher in maintaining a calm, purposeful learning environment.
