Salary: £90 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)

Location: Pevensey

Start Date: As soon as possible

Are you a patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?
GSL Education is recruiting a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with ASD in a welcoming primary school in Pevensey, East Sussex. This flexible, day-to-day supply role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference.

About the Role

  • Provide individualised 1:1 support to a pupil with ASD to help them access learning and daily routines.
  • Adapt activities and resources to meet the pupil's specific needs and learning style.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to implement strategies and monitor progress.
  • Support development of communication, social, and behavioural skills according to the pupil's needs.

Please note that this role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must pass all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing a new check.
