Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Romford, Essex
Salary: £13.67 - £15 per hour

If you have experience working with a variety of special educational needs (SEN) and are eager to create a positive and inclusive environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

Job Duties:
Support: Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN in a classroom setting.
Assist: Help teachers implement individual education plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
Engage: Monitor and supervise students during class activities, ensuring they understand instructions and tasks.
Manage: De-escalate challenging behaviour with positivity and effective behavior management techniques.
Communicate: Build positive relationships with teachers, parents, and professionals while maintaining detailed records of each child’s progress.
Nurture: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that helps children integrate into school life more easily.

Requirements:
• Right to work in the UK
• Valid DBS check or willingness to apply for one
• Prior experience working with students with special educational needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
