Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking dedicated individuals to support pupils with additional needs in a primary classroom. You will provide one-to-one assistance during lessons, transitions and breaks, helping create a calm and safe space for learning.

You will collaborate with teachers and the SENCo to tailor activities to each pupil's needs, using creativity and empathy to unlock potential. This role values attitude and commitment, with full safeguarding training provided.

Qualifications

• Genuine love for working with children, especially those needing extra support.
• Attitude, empathy and commitment are valued above formal SEND experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to a pupil during lessons, breaktimes, and transitions throughout the school day.
• Help create a calm, encouraging and safe learning environment where the pupil can flourish.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to adapt learning tasks and ensure the pupil's needs are met.
• Use creativity and emotional intelligence to turn everyday moments into joyful learning experiences.
• Celebrate every achievement as part of the pupil's journey.
