Job summary

New Directions Holdings Limited is seeking 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Wirral primary schools from September 2026. The role focuses on personalised support, helping children build confidence, independence and reach their potential.

Ideal candidates will have experience with children in educational or childcare settings and a patient, proactive approach. You will collaborate with teachers and SEND teams to deliver tailored support and behaviour guidance in a welcoming school

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in school, nursery, childcare or voluntary settings is desirable.
• Passion for supporting children's learning and development.

The Role

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with a range of learning needs

• Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to help them succeed both academically and socially
