Position: 1:1 Non-Verbal Specialist Teaching Assistant
Location: Northampton

  • Experience: Previous experience working with non-verbal children is highly desirable. Training in alternative communication methods (PECS, sign language, AAC) will be an advantage.

  • Commitment: A willingness to work one-on-one with children to provide personalized, tailored support.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide individual, one-on-one support for a non-verbal child in a school setting.
  • Assist with communication, using alternative methods like PECs, sign language, and other tools.
  • Work closely with teachers and specialists to develop personalized learning plans.
  • Help build the child’s confidence, social skills, and academic progress.
