Job summary

Pegasus Primary School, part of Summit Learning Trust, is seeking a temporary teaching assistant to support a Year 2 pupil with additional needs. The role is fixed-term until 31 August 2027, term-time only, 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Experience with SEND in a primary setting is required.

DBS checks are required. Visa sponsorship is not available. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide individualized support and contribute to a positive learning

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check including Children’s Barred List check
• Proven experience of working with SEND in a primary setting
• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/5 or above, or equivalent

Job description
