Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team to provide 1:1 support. This role involves working alongside our teaching team to nurture, support, and engage a KS2 pupil from 8.45am to 12.45pm daily.

The ideal candidate will be positive, highly motivated, and flexible. They will show care and nurture for the pupils, ensuring that their emotional needs are met. They will be passionate about education and motivated to bring the joy of learning to these pupils at their accessible level.

Previous experience of working with children in a school setting would be preferable, but any experience with SEN would be useful.

This is a term-time contract, linked to high needs funding allocated to the pupils. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 12.45pm.
