Job summary

Randstad Education is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work with young people aged 7-16 years with learning difficulties in Godstone. This full-time, permanent role involves supporting students on a 1:1 basis according to their Individual Learning Plans.

Successful candidates will assist in developing students' independence and participate in relevant training. Benefits include access to school facilities, on-site parking, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Desire to help others enjoy learning and develop independence.
• GCSEs with a minimum Grade C/level 4 or equivalent, including Maths and English language.
• Experience of working with adults or children with learning or communication difficulties.
• Honest, trustworthy and ethical behaviour at all times.
• Own means of transport (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Interact with and participate in the development of students' skills.
• Support pupils' participation in community opportunities.
• Provide care identified in students' individual learning plans.
• Encourage acceptable levels of personal hygiene.
• Participate in relevant training to achieve required qualifications.
