Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Numeracy & Literacy Tutor to support KS1/KS2 students with a flexible, creative and nurturing approach. You will deliver learning plans on a 1 to 1 basis to disengaged and at-risk pupils, helping them re-engage with education and establish daily routines.

Role involves working in the community or pupils' homes with flexible hours, starting ASAP on a temporary, part-time basis, with pay at least £25 per hour.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience.
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one numeracy and literacy tutoring.
• Create and deliver learning plans tailored to each pupil.
• Support students to re-engage with education and daily routines.
