Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a GCSE/English Tutor to deliver tailored 1:1 lessons for pupils not in school. You will plan, deliver and monitor progress to re-engage learners and raise attainment. Location is Salford; hours fluctuate with sessions between 1 and 3 hours.

Role is contract-based with both part-time and full-time options, ensuring safeguarding and DBS compliance. Start date is November 2026, with the successful candidate working as an employment business partner through Prospero

Qualifications

• Experience tailoring 1:1 English tutoring for GCSE levels.
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess bespoke lessons.
• Safeguarding training up to date is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke 1:1 English GCSE tutoring to bridge gaps in pupil education.
• Plan and deliver tailored lessons to boost engagement and attainment.
