Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a GCSE Tutor to deliver bespoke 1:1 education packages to young people not attending school in Stafford. You will plan, deliver and tailor lessons to reengage pupils and bridge gaps, with support to monitor progress and attainment.

Roles include both part-time and full-time opportunities, starting November 2026, with a minimum pay rate of 25 per hour. The role requires QTS/QTLS/PGCE or equivalent, and at least 6 months of UK school experience.

Qualifications

• Hold UK Right to Work.
• Safeguarding training within last year is desirable.
• Eligible to work with children in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke 1:1 GCSE tutoring sessions.
• Plan and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education.
• Re-engage pupils and restore structure to their daily routine.
• Monitor progression and support effective learning.
