Qualifications

What You’ll Be Doing:

Delivering personalised 1:1 sessions in Functional Skills English, Maths, and/or ICT.

Supporting students with their individual learning needs, helping them reach their full potential.

Planning lessons that are fun, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s pace and style.

Providing encouragement and feedback to help students build confidence and make steady progress.

Tracking progress and setting achievable goals to keep learners on track.

Helping students prepare for exams or assessments in a supportive, relaxed environment.

What We’re Looking For:

A genuine passion for teaching and helping others succeed.

Experience in tutoring or teaching, ideally in Functional Skills or similar subjects.

A teaching qualification.

Good knowledge of Functional Skills curriculum in English, Maths, and/or ICT.

Patience, empathy, and a creative approach to teaching.

Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
