Job summary

A special needs school in Banbury is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Autism Teaching Assistant. This role involves supporting a child with Autism, helping them engage in activities and develop independence. Ideal candidates are Psychology graduates or experienced Teaching Assistants/Carers with empathy and flexibility. Qualifications

  • Recent graduate degree in Psychology, Criminology, or Sociology.
  • Experience working with children with Autism, either professional or personal.
  • Passion for supporting children with special educational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support one child with Autism in engaging classroom activities.
  • Help the student develop their independence.
  • Aid the student with verbal and non-verbal communication.
