Meithrin in Wales is seeking a reliable and energetic assistant to join its staff on a 12-month contract. This 1:1 role focuses on supporting a 3-year-old child within a team setting. The position begins in January and runs for twelve months.

Fluency in Welsh is required, or learners who have achieved a high level of proficiency. Hours total 17.5 per week, with Jan–Mar hours 8:00–12:30 and Apr–Dec 11:30–16:00. There is potential for occasional extra hours to cover staff absences.

Qualifications

Welsh fluency is required; learners with high proficiency are welcome.

Responsabilités

Provide 1:1 support to a 3-year-old child.
Collaborate as part of a small team to deliver activities and daily routines.
Support children's learning and development during play and structured activities.

The Cylch Meithrin is looking for a reliable and energetic assistant who enjoys working as part of a team to join its staff. This position is for a 1:1 assistant to work with a 3-year-old child.

Applicants must be fluent in Welsh, or be learners who have reached a high level of proficiency in the language.

The position begins in January for a 12-month period. Working hours beyond the end of the 1:1 contract can be discussed.

There is potential for additional hours to provide occasional staff cover. The initial contract is for 12 months.
