Job description

There is great potential to enhance your skills within this role to future-proof the dermatology service in the Barnsley area, as we will be moving our services to Health on the High Street, giving you the opportunity to become involved in developing services out in the community.

We deliver a number of dermatology clinics within the department, including skin cancer surveillance, phototherapy, minor surgery, drug monitoring, biologics clinics, photodynamic therapy, iontophoresis, wound care, leg ulcer assessment, and camouflage, as well as 2-week wait skin cancer and general dermatology clinics.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your role within the department, supported by senior team members. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting junior members and accessing role-specific training.

You must be a flexible, self-motivated nurse who enjoys a challenge, delivers compassionate care to high clinical standards, and has a customer-focused approach to improve the patient experience.
