A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a full-time staff nurse for their Dermatology department. The ideal candidate will be flexible, self-motivated, and dedicated to delivering compassionate care. This role provides opportunities for skill enhancement in a supportive multidisciplinary environment, focusing on patient experience and community service development.
A full-time staff nurse position has become available in the Dermatology department at Barnsley NHS Foundation Trust.
You must be a flexible, self-motivated nurse who enjoys a challenge and delivering compassionate care to the highest clinical standards, along with a customer focus to improve the patient experience.
There is great potential to enhance your skills within this role to future-proof the dermatology service in the Barnsley area, as we will be moving our services to Health on the High Street, giving you the opportunity to become involved in developing services out in the community.
We deliver a number of dermatology clinics within the department, clinician and nurse-led, including skin cancer surveillance, phototherapy, minor surgery, drug monitoring, biologics clinics, photodynamic therapy, iontophoresis, wound care, leg ulcer assessment, camouflage, 2-week wait skin cancer, and general dermatology clinics.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your role within the department, supported by senior team members. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting junior members, and will have access to role-specific training.
