0.7 Hair Technician

£23,557 gross per annum pro rata

Contractual hours: 25.9

The Role

You will assist and facilitate lecturers and students in a practical working environment, issuing kits, uniforms, products, equipment, and stock. You will support the centre in meeting industry demands and the needs of staff and students. The post holder will also be responsible for health and safety of the curriculum, supporting the development of the commercial offer within the Spa Academy, and fostering links with schools to drive recruitment.

What we are looking for

You must have at least a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing (or equivalent) and Level 2 English and Maths. Experience in stock control and Health & Safety at work is essential, as are excellent customer service skills. Experience in a retail environment and working at a busy reception is desirable.
