St Edmundsbury C of E Primary Academy is seeking a part-time Class Teacher to join our church school community in Bury St Edmunds. The role is 0.6 FTE on a fixed-term contract for 1 year from 1 January 2027, with some PPA cover and opportunities to lead curriculum subjects depending on your strengths.

KS1/KS2 experience is desirable and a passion for a child-centred curriculum is essential. We are a welcoming school within Elveden Schools Trust, committed to safeguarding and staff development,

Qualifications

• University graduate
• PGCE or equivalent
• Evidence of successful teaching/training
• Evidence of consistently good teaching and learning

• Lead curriculum subjects depending on expertise
• Provide some PPA cover and contribute to school development
