Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Business lecturer who can inspire students and maintain excellent working relationships in a very successful Business team. A willingness to support students pastorally is essential, as is being adaptable and flexible in a dynamic working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality teaching on education programmes and contribute to an outstanding learning experience for our students.
  • Provide pastoral and tutor group support; manage a tutor group as part of teaching duties.
  • Work with confidence with a variety of ability levels and contribute as a committed team member.
  • Collaborate with the department which delivers a range of business-related courses.
Department courses
  • A-Level Accounting
  • Business Studies
  • Economics and Law
  • Diploma in Travel & Tourism
  • Level 2 Business/Travel & Tourism
Qualifications and experience
  • Applicants should be well qualified in the subject area.
  • Ideally, a relevant teaching qualification; opportunities may exist for those wishing to move into teaching as a change in career direction. If you are not a qualified teacher, this should not deter you from applying.
  • Experienced industry professionals who are changing careers may be eligible for funding to support teacher training.
  • Non-qualified applicants will be considered but will be paid on a non-qualified lecturer scale.
