About The Role and Person
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College, and we are seeking to appoint a Practical Instructor for Agriculture and Environmental Conservation.
Our Practical Instructors support teaching staff by providing practical demonstrations and technical instruction to students. They supervise small groups to develop practical skills, demonstrating appropriate skills, methods, and techniques. This may include operating machinery, harvesting crops, and feeding livestock. They ensure students can demonstrate the skills and behaviors required for their qualifications and possess the knowledge underpinning practical instruction. Additionally, they maintain health and safety during practical sessions.
The ideal candidate will hold at least a Level 3 qualification in Agriculture or a related field and have practical experience in the agricultural industry. While experience in education is not essential, candidates should be comfortable providing training and instruction.
This is a part-time role, working 14.4 hours per week, with a salary ranging from £10,408 to £10,806, including London weighting.
