XRbentsh is seeking a z/OS mainframe engineer to join the IT production of a major banking group in Paris. You’ll administer, maintain and evolve z/OS systems, and drive operations automation using REXX and JCL in long-term, technically demanding assignments.

Responsibilities include installations, upgrades, SMP/E maintenance, incident analysis (level 3), RACF security enforcement, and documenting best practices for the teams. Fluent French and strong English are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in z/OS mainframe system engineering.
• Strong command of REXX, JCL, TSO/ISPF and SMP/E.
• Knowledge of JES2, RACF and ideally CICS, DB2 or Parallel Sysplex.

Within the IT production of a major banking group, you work on IBM z/OS mainframe environments that support business critical applications. You handle system administration and develop operations automation, on long term and technically demanding assignments.

Your profile

• At least 5 years of experience in z/OS mainframe system engineering
• Strong command of REXX, JCL, TSO/ISPF and SMP/E
• Knowledge of JES2, RACF and ideally CICS, DB2 or Parallel Sysplex
• Rigour, production mindset and a taste for automation
• Fluent French, technical English
