Job summary

AMI in Paris is seeking an experienced AI researcher to advance world model research. You will work with a team on self-supervised learning from video, develop architectures to predict world dynamics, and help scale data processing.

Candidates should have a CS degree, Python fluency, and ability to run experiments independently; experience with PyTorch or JAX is preferred. This role offers impactful research with open-ended problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Ability to design, run, and analyze experiments independently.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, large-scale training, and accelerator-based compute environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on world model research efforts leveraging self-supervised learning from video and high-dimensional signals.
• Develop architectures that predict world dynamics from video data and other modalities.
• Contribute to data pre-processing and curation pipelines for video data.
• Contribute to evaluations benchmarking world model understanding, prediction and planning.
• Support efficient algorithms for model-based planning and reasoning.
