UNESCO’s Asia and the Pacific Unit (CLT/WHC/APA) seeks a Project Officer to drive capacity-building, partnerships and cooperation activities for World Heritage. You will coordinate multifaceted projects across partners, manage work plans, and contribute to knowledge products and guidelines.

The role requires at least four years of international experience, advanced degree in heritage-related field, and strong coordination, reporting and budget skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in cultural heritage management, archaeology, architecture, communications, or international relations.
• Minimum of four years of progressive professional experience in cultural/natural heritage, international cooperation or project management.
• Experience organizing capacity-building activities, workshops and international cooperation initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the planning, implementation and monitoring of the CFIT and related capacity-building projects in Asia-Pacific.
• Develop detailed workplans, manage regional/national activities and draft guidelines and knowledge products.
• Manage contracts, terms of reference, partnership agreements and work plans.
• Ensure monitoring and reporting of project implementation including technical/financial reports.
