Nokia is seeking a senior researcher to define and shape a research agenda under the guidance of top experts in Wi‑Fi and IEEE 802.11 standards. You will contribute to the Wi‑Fi CoE, drafting ideas for IEEE 802.11 and the Wi‑Fi Alliance, and help develop simulation platforms.

You will transfer ideas from academia or standardization bodies into practical research for the next generation Wi‑Fi standards, collaborating with industry partners and product lines.

Qualifications

• PhD in EE, CS, Physics or similar or MS with 5+ years of experience as Wi‑Fi standardization delegate or related standardization work.
• Strong working knowledge of Wi‑Fi up to 802.11bn.
• Proven track record of innovations and contributions to wireless standards.

Responsabilités

• Define and shape Nokia’s research agenda under guidance of leading industry experts.
• Develop innovations with the Wi‑Fi CoE and draft contributions for IEEE 802.11 and Wi‑Fi Alliance.
• Present ideas and contribute to the development of simulation platforms and industry standards.
