J.P. Morgan is seeking a Wholesale Credit Risk EMEA Associate to assess and manage credit risk for a broad client base across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

You will work with partners across corporate banking, markets and product teams to support leveraged, investment grade and VC-backed clients, enabling high-quality due diligence and clear risk communication. You will help shape credit decisions through thoughtful structuring and risk messaging, reporting to the Vice President - Credit

Qualifications

• Strong credit judgement and risk-discipline.
• Knowledge of transaction structures and core banking products.
• Clear written and verbal communication; synthesize complex information.
• Ability to build credibility with stakeholders and coach juniors.

Responsabilités

• Lead due diligence, credit analysis, and financial modelling for credit counterparties.
• Prepare credit approval memos with structure, risk appetite and risk grading.
• Build models and challenge assumptions with product partners.
• Develop downside scenarios and articulate key conclusions clearly.
• Partner across lending, derivatives, trade finance, and treasury products.
