Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse, France, is looking for a Structure Design Engineer to join the MAP Wing Structures team, providing engineering support for FAL, flight tests and delivery of A350 and A330 aircraft.

The role focuses on designing repair solutions for wing structures, managing non-conformities, and delivering production support while ensuring compliance with design, manufacturing and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautics or a similar discipline.
• 3 years of experience in aeronautical structure design.

Responsabilités

• Design and approve engineering repair solutions for wing structures.
• Provide direct technical support on aircraft during Final Assembly Lines, flight tests and delivery.
• Ensure continuous compliance with aircraft design, manufacturing and safety standards.
• Identify repetitive issues from operator feedback and propose design modifications with design offices and Chief Engineer teams.
• Represent the MAP Wing team within the MAP community, manufacturing teams and customers.

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a structure design engineer (f/m) to join our MAP team based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team providing engineering support for the Final Assembly Lines (FAL), Flight Test and and the delivery of A350 & A330 aircrafts. As part of the MAP Wide Body Wing Structures, you will be involved in non-conformities management, designing repair solutions, as well as production support aiming at securing the industrial milestones, quality and safety of our wings.

Your challenges

• Design and approve engineering repair solutions (concession process) on wing structures.
• Provide direct technical support on aircraft in Final Assembly Lines (FAL), flight tests and delivery center in accordance with industrial milestones.
• Ensure continuous compliance with aircraft design, manufacturing and safety standards.
• Identify repetitive issues through operators' practical feedback and propose design modifications in collaboration with the design offices and Chief Engineer teams.
• Represent the MAP Wing team within the MAP community, manufacturing teams and customers (airlines).

Your boarding pass

• Master's degree or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautics or a similar discipline.
• 3 years of experience in aeronautical structure design (metallic and/or composite).
• Solid skills with CAD tools (CATIA).
• Knowledge of repair and maintenance technical documentation (SRM, AMM, ASR, IPC).
• Knowledge of the SAP environment and non-conformities (NC) management processes.
• Languages: French + Negotiation level in English.
• Agile and adaptable.
• Proactive and pragmatic.
