Main Mission

The VP Engineering is responsible for the strategy, leadership, and execution of engineering activities in the data storage sector. He / she drives the design, development, and deployment of innovative, reliable solutions while ensuring quality, security, and performance at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with the company’s technology vision.
• Lead and oversee R&D and Engineering teams (software, hardware, distributed systems, cloud).
• Drive the development of large-scale, high-performance, and secure data storage solutions.
• Ensure product quality, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement agile practices and engineering best standards.
• Collaborate with product, sales, and operations teams to align technical roadmaps with business needs.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain top technical talent.
• Represent the Engineering function at the executive level and with key customers.

Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in computer engineering, electronics, or related fields.
• 15+ years of experience in senior engineering leadership roles, with a strong background in data storage, distributed systems, or cloud.
• Proven technical expertise in storage architectures (NAS, SAN, SDS, cloud storage, distributed databases).
• Successful track record in managing large international engineering organizations.
• Strong leadership, results-driven mindset, and ability to drive innovation.
• Professional fluency in English; and Spanish
