Job summary

LILT is seeking professional voice talents to join a global, remote-friendly project. We welcome native speakers with voice acting or related experience and a home recording setup. You’ll participate in AI and language technology projects, with flexible scheduling and competitive rates.

A demo of your voice is preferred, and licensing your voice for AI use may be required. As a contractor, you set your own hours and workload, choosing projects that fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be native speaker of the target locale.
• Experience with voice acting, narration, podcasting, or streaming.
• Access to a home recording setup (DAW, microphone, audio interface, headphones).
• Able to follow specific technical requirements (volume, format, gaps between segments).
• Able to provide demo or sample recordings.
• Comfortable with fast-turnaround projects and tight deadlines.
• Open to licensing your voice for AI voice cloning / TTS training.
• May undergo a test in our module to be vetted against requirements.

About The Opportunity

We are looking for professional or semi-professional voice talents with a passion for language and technology for an exciting project.

Voice characteristics:

Female, "mature" (~35–55 years old), natural rather than polished/robotic — retaining natural pauses, disfluencies, and natural word emphasis.

Personality and Tone:

1. Conversational and likeable for customers (e.g., friendly, empathetic, patient)

1. Natural and approachable in a dialogue

1. Intelligent, confident, engaged, and builds trust

1. Welcoming and accommodating without being earnest, sycophantic or too eager to please

1. Ability to convey the desired personality traits (e.g., friendly, confident, helpful)

Speech Quality and Clarity:

1. Easy to follow and clear

1. Consistent, moderate pace with natural pauses

Qualifications

• Must be native speaker of the target locale

• Experience with voice acting, narration, podcasting, or streaming

• Access to a home recording setup

  • Treated space, quiet environment, free from background noise, music, clicks, muffling, etc.

• Able to provide demo, sample recordings, voiceover samples

• Comfortable with fast-turnaround projects and able to meet tight delivery deadlines when engaged

• Open to licensing your voice for AI voice cloning / TTS training

• Depending on the project, you may undergo a test in our module to be subsequently vetted against all requirements.
