West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled engineer to support productivity of vision inspection systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and contribute to upstream process improvements using Lean Sigma tools. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 3 years in vision inspection; PLC/VBA programming and ISO/FDA knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ vision inspection experience preferred.
• Automation, Programming (PLC, VBA), Electronics Troubleshooting preferred.
• Vision machine integration in a cGMP/Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Modify and test machine vision systems and components; write and revise software configurations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and improve vision system hardware, software, and mechanics.
• Support current and future projects related to vision operations.
• Apply lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce vision ejects and improve changeovers.
