IXO is seeking individuals to capture household-task demonstrations in Vietnam for robotics training. You will set up recording devices, operate the UMI gripper or hand-tracking configuration, and ensure demonstrations meet protocol.

Pay is $17–$18 per approved video hour in USD, with pilot and post-calibration terms. You must have a reliable home workspace in Vietnam, high-speed internet, and comfort with wearing a VR headset for extended periods. Data collection experience is a plus.

Your work at IXO

Capture household-task demonstrations in Vietnam for robotics training. The work uses specialized hand-motion and video equipment to document how everyday objects are manipulated in a real home.

Responsibilities

• Set up the assigned recording devices and demonstrate the requested household actions accurately.
• Operate the specified UMI gripper or wearable hand-tracking configuration according to the task protocol.
• Check recordings, respond to quality feedback and repeat a demonstration when the agreed procedure requires it.
• Organize and upload large video files and report hardware or instruction problems clearly.

Required setup and abilities

You must be based in Vietnam with dependable access to a fully equipped local home, including kitchen, living areas and normal household objects. Strong manual dexterity, precise instruction-following and the ability to work patiently through repetitive tasks are required. Be comfortable setting up specialist equipment and wearing a VR headset for extended periods where the assigned configuration requires it. Stable high-speed internet is needed for large uploads. Previous data collection, usability studies or hands-on robotics work is helpful, as is curiosity about domestic robotics.

Protocol and pay

IXO will confirm the actual device configuration, availability, home-space requirements, approved-data target and handling rules before work. The equipment specification must be settled before participation; no shipment is promised here. Protect other occupants’ privacy and keep sensitive home recordings out of the application.

Pay is $17 $18/approved video hour in USD per accepted video hour, not per labor hour. Pilot and post-calibration terms will be agreed before capture; early work may take about two labor hours for each hour of approved data, with no guaranteed efficiency.
