Job summary

La Maison Partners is seeking a motivated student to join its venture capital team for a 6-month internship starting March 2027 in Paris. You will support the investment process from sourcing to deal execution, monitor portfolio companies, and assist with LP reporting.

Qualifications

Currently in 2nd or 3rd year of study at a top business, engineering school or university.
Fluent in French and English.
Genuine interest in digital/tech spaces and startups.
Strong analytical and financial skills.
Hardworking, agile and autonomous.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Microsoft Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
Hands-on experience with generative AI tools.

Responsibilities

Sourcing: analyze market sector dynamics for potential investments; attend meetups, conferences and accelerator demo-days; analyze databases.
Deal execution: evaluate opportunities; contact founders and co-investors; collect core information; meet management teams; prepare investment materials for committee.
Monitor portfolio companies; manage deal-flow; support LP reporting; help deploy AI tools across the team’s workflows.
