Jobtailor is seeking a Testing and Validation Specialist to join a collaborative team in Toulouse. You will design test strategies, write both manual and automated test cases, and drive validation campaigns in a fast-paced embedded systems environment.

Role requires 3–5 years in testing, strong Robot Framework and TestStand skills, and a solid grasp of defect management. You will interact with development teams and other stakeholders on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, electronics, embedded systems, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in testing and validation.
• Proficiency in Robot Framework.
• Proficiency in TestStand.
• Experience with test automation.
• Good understanding of validation and defect management processes.
• Knowledge of fieldbuses and traffic analysis tools is a plus.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and autonomy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Analyze system requirements to define test strategies and scenarios
• Write manual or automated test cases in accordance with requirements
• Execute tests manually when they cannot be automated or before automation is implemented
• Automate existing tests using Robot Framework and/or TestStand
• Prepare and execute validation campaigns
• Identify, analyze, and report defects to the development teams
• Track bugs through resolution and validation
• Work closely with the development team and various technical stakeholders
• Join a team of approximately 18 people in a collaborative environment with strong interaction with development teams
