Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse seeks a V&V Solution Architect to join the Flight Test and Avionics DPSF team. You will drive PLM architecture, define a technical vision, and coordinate large-scale IS/IT solutions across multiple Agile Release Trains.

Requires 5+ years in Business IT, strong software architecture, PLM and avionics experience, and fluency in French and English. Permanent role with opportunities for growth and international exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business IT projects.
• Proven experience in software architecture and development; PLM, digital, flight test or avionics is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of design, engineering and digital processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent French and English.

Responsabilités

• Drive the E2E PLM Portfolio roadmap as an Enterprise/Functional Architect for large solutions.
• Design and communicate a shared technical vision and Architectural Runway.
• Partner with Solution Train Engineers and Product Management to steer delivery of the Large Solution.
• Coordinate across multiple ARTs to ensure system integration and alignment.
• Lead architecture boards and SAFe ceremonies, incl. PI Planning, to govern standards.
• Support milestones with deep functional expertise and strategic roadmap input.
• Lead and monitor supplier teams to scale architectural activities.

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a V&V Solution architect (m/f) to join our Flight Test and Avionics (DPSF) department based in Toulouse. As part of the " Flight Test and Avionics" Team (DPSF), you will join the Aircraft and Electrical System Product Service Line in charge of developing and maintaining solutions for Flight Test and Avionics.

The scope of the organization is to deliver to Airbus Engineering Business a single & harmonized set of IS/IT tools for the development of the Aircraft, Helicopters or Defense products, its industrial set-up, support and Services part, non-recurring & recurring aspects included.

The organization is established to ensure the development and the support of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) solutions in a context of Airbus Group Process, Method and Tools strategy.

The scope will be linked to topics related to Digital Integrated Processes (Authoring), Engineering Processes as part of the Engineering View.

Your challenges

• Drive the E2E PLM Portfolio roadmap as an Enterprise/Functional Architect to define IS convergence strategies for Large Solutions.
• Design and communicate a shared technical vision while building the Architectural Runway to sustain long-term business value.
• Partner with Solution Train Engineers and Product Management to steer the operational delivery of the Large Solution.
• Coordinate across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure seamless System Integration and technical alignment.
• Lead architecture boards and facilitate key SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, to govern technical standards.
• Secure project milestones by providing deep functional expertise and contributing to strategic roadmap definitions.
• Manage supplier team performance, providing the leadership and monitoring necessary to scale architectural activities.

Your boarding pass

• At least 5 years of experience in Business IT projects,
• Proven experience in Software Architecture and Development, Ideally, proven experience with PLM, Digital, Flight Test and/or Avionics
• Strong knowledge of all or part of the domains Design, Engineering- and Digital Processes.
• Good communication skills,
• Customer and stakeholder management skills,
• Language skills: advanced level of French and English.
